“But you said this wine was your favorite.” She said pointedly, almost like an accusation.

“Yes, I did.” He replied. “I said it was my favorite, but I didn’t say it was good.”

“Normally people say something is their favorite for a reason.” Still with that suspicion tone to her voice. “You give a whole speech about how it is your favorite every time someone asks about it. Why say it’s your favorite then?”

“It’s my favorite because a lot of people I interact with enjoy drinking it and I enjoy letting people enjoy what they prefer to enjoy. It’s definitely not good however because it’s far too sweet and sweetness is numbing. I personally prefer to enjoy things that make me feel alive, not numb.”
