See the Future Before It’s Here

He ran his fingers along the cold, dusty stone, feeling the cracks and crevices in the cave wall. He was looking for something, not with his eyes, but with his fingers, with touch. Then he felt it, a small lever hidden behind one of the stones. Activating it, a whispering creak sounded as a section of the wall swung open, revealing a torch-lit library. Sprawling bookcases covered the entrance hallway from top to bottom and there were just as many books on the shelves as there were scattered on the ground and nearby tables. He walked in confidently as this was his home, proceeding to his writing area. Sitting down at his desk with a flourish of his cloak he began writing on a page of a new book, a forbidden book: The book of knowledge between the words of description and the words of creation.
